Phira FAQ Self-Help Documentation ​

This is the Phira FAQ Self-Help Documentation written by Phira support volunteers. Before playing Phira, please carefully read and agree to the official Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

MUST-READ FOR NEW PLAYERS!!!

  • If you are a new Phira player coming from video platforms, or if this is your first time playing a falling-note music game, we strongly recommend that you first go to Google Play to download Phigros to get familiar with the gameplay!
  • Phira is a community game built on the gameplay of Phigros. Its main audience is high-level players of Phigros or other rhythm games, and it has no tutorial. It is extremely unfriendly to newcomers, and a bad experience will only ruin your mood. If you are genuinely interested, we still strongly recommend that you play Phigros first before coming here!

Before you start ​

  1. A device that can play the game.

  3. If you see installation errors such as "device not supported", "CPU incompatible", or an installation failure prompt, try installing the 32-bit version.

Download for iOS ​

On iOS 14.5 and below, tapping an input field may crash the game. Please be aware!

  1. Apple accounts outside mainland China can search for and download Phira from the App Store.
  2. Install by sideloading an IPA. Package download links: Official GitHub, Dmocken's Phira download site
  3. On iOS, sideloading via IPA requires a computer, or jailbreak tools such as TrollStore. See the tutorial.
  4. If you see an "Untrusted Enterprise Developer" prompt, go to Settings → General → VPN & Device Management and trust the developer. If you are prompted to "enable Developer Mode", turn on "Developer Mode" in Settings first.

Download for HarmonyOS ​

Registration / Login ​

  • Starting from v0.8.0, Phira downloaded via 好游快爆 supports one-click login without email verification.
  • Email registration/login steps:
    1. Go to QQ Mail (recommended) or NetEase Mail to register an email address.
    2. Go to the in-game registration page or the official website, and enter your email address, username, and the password you want to set.
    3. After agreeing to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, an account activation email will be sent to your inbox. Follow the link in the email to activate your account. If you do not receive the email, remember to check your spam folder in case it was blocked. If it is still missing, we suggest trying again after 20 minutes!
    4. Once activated, you can log in to Phira and enjoy online services.

FAQ ​

About the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy ​

  • The Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are things you must understand and agree to. If you do not agree, Phira has the right to refuse to provide services to you.
  • After you read the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, the pop-up will close automatically, which by default means you have finished reading and agree to the contents of the terms.

About 好游快爆 account binding ​

  • When logging into Phira v0.8.0 or above (the 好游快爆 version), you are required to bind a 好游快爆 account before you can play normally. Once bound, the account supports one-click login via 好游快爆.
How to switch the bound 好游快爆 account:
  • In-game:
    1. Tap the avatar in the top-right corner
    2. Tap Unbind 好游快爆, which will log you out
    3. Use 好游快爆 one-click login to log in with the new 好游快爆 account
    4. Tap the avatar in the top-right corner -> Migrate old account
    5. Enter the email address of the old account, and a transfer email will be sent to your inbox
    6. Open your email, verify through the email, and once it passes, the switch is done

    2. Log in with your email and password
    3. Tap the avatar in the top-right corner -> Settings -> Security -> 好游快爆 account -> Unbind to unbind the 好游快爆 account
    4. Re-enter the game and log in with your email
    5. Authorize the 好游快爆 login and you are done

Account registration and password issues ​

  • After registering, check your email promptly; a verification email will arrive. If it does not, check your spam folder or refresh.
  • If an invitation link shows "Invalid activation code" within 10 minutes of receiving it, it may be a system bug. In that case, try logging in to Phira with the account and password you registered.
  • To change your password, go to Reset password. After clicking the link and entering your email, a password-reset link will be sent to your inbox; open it to change the password. A blank screen after entering your email is a known bug. If you do not receive the reset link within 5 minutes, try submitting the reset request again.

Online service issues ​

  • If chart loading or downloading fails, check whether the app is the latest version. If it is already the latest version, then it is a server issue, or your access is being restricted due to frequent requests; it will recover after a while.
  • If chart scores cannot be uploaded and you see: ! Still uploading score, it means the server's network condition is poor at the moment. If you do not care about the score, we suggest playing in offline mode.
  • If you see: This play does not count, it means the score was judged invalid by the system due to local settings or actions and will not be counted or uploaded. Check the following items one by one; in most cases you can locate the cause:
    1. MOD enabled: including but not limited to modified judgment, auto-play, invincibility, and other cheating features; the system will directly disqualify the score.
    2. Keyboard mode enabled: when playing with a keyboard or other non-touch input devices, the score will not be counted.
    3. Offline mode enabled: in offline mode, scores cannot be uploaded to the server, so they are not counted in the rankings.
    4. Speed-change enabled: after enabling speed change in Settings, the score of that play will not be counted.
Charts fail to download or download slowly? Click to view:
  • Check whether the network is working
  • Try canceling and downloading again
  • Wait an hour and come back
  • Switch network environment
  • Turn on insecure mode in the game and restart the game
  • Turn on airplane mode, or restart the device
  • Switch network carrier
  • Use a network proxy tool
  • Wait for the server to recover access

About RKS ​

  • Phira's RKS mechanism is similar to the ptt mechanism in early Arcaea; RKS can go up or down.
  • Currently only some listed charts can increase RKS.
  • A chart must first pass normal review, then the uploader applies for listing; the listing review is voted on by reviewers, and only after 4 votes pass is the chart marked as stable and ranked. Only from this step do scores count toward RKS.

Multiplayer service issues ​

  • The official Phira multiplayer server (mp2.phira.cn:12345) is currently unavailable.
  • There is a third-party monitoring site that collects multiplayer game server addresses: Visit the monitoring site.

Touch drop issues on devices ​

  • iOS: Enable Guided Access.
  • Android: Put the app into the system's built-in game space, or turn off all multi-finger gestures and other assistive features.
  • General: Turn off aggressive optimization and enable low graphics quality; an overheated device causes CPU throttling and hurts performance; a dirty screen also affects touch. If touch drops persist, check whether the screen supports multi-touch.

Resource pack issues ​

DANGER

  • Note! In v0.7.1, importing the wrong thing will clear your skins! This is a known bug; please try updating to v0.8.0 or above to play.
  • Download resource packs:

  • Import resource packs:
    1. iOS: TestFlight installs can import directly; Phira installed via IPA will, on many devices / with high probability, fail to import files.
    2. Android:
      • In-game: for skin packs: Home -> Resource Packs -> the plus on the left; for charts: Play -> the plus in the top-right
      • Outside the game: choose Phira as the opening method for chart files; choose Phira (Resource Pack) for skin packs
      • If you see a purple title bar and a white screen, try opening the zip in your file manager using the Phira (Resource Pack) method

The copyright of the Phigros Official Resource Pack belongs to Pigeon Games. Phira does not own the right to use it and has stopped providing it. Please also respect copyright and do not redistribute it.

Custom chart issues ​

  • If you want to find custom charts for a specific song, the fastest way is to search on Bilibili and download them under the chart author's guidance;
  • Uploading custom charts: before uploading a chart, please make sure you have carefully and fully read, understood, and agreed to all terms and contents of the Phira Chart Upload Guidelines and the Phira Chart Content Policy (for charters)! In addition, all of Phigros's exclusive songs, original artwork, charts, and enhanced charts based on official charts are prohibited from being uploaded; violators may have their accounts banned.
  • For non-exclusive songs, do not use original artwork when uploading; just make sure your chart design differs from the official chart and it may be uploaded. For other questions, the chart upload guidelines have detailed descriptions.

How to delete your account ​

  • You can currently submit an account deletion request in In-game -> top-right avatar -> Delete account; after you submit the request, the dev team will manually delete the account data.
  • To cancel a deletion request, log in on the official website and you can cancel the request.

Note

Because the official website currently does not support 好游快爆 one-click login, if you tap the delete account button by mistake, please send an email to contact@phira.cn with your username and user UID to submit a cancellation request!
