Review & Stable Guide
This document covers the review process, stable application, and Stable/Ranked rules for Phira charts.
Review Process
After uploading or updating a chart, it enters the review queue and requires approval from 2 reviewers before becoming public. Once approved, the chart may apply for stable. If rejected, the reviewer will provide a reason, and the chart can be re-uploaded after revision.
If the chart description contains collaborator mentions (see Collaborator Feature), all collaborators must confirm their participation before the chart can enter the review process.
Stable Application
Eligibility
To apply for stable, the chart must have passed initial review, and the cooldown period since the last application must have elapsed (at least 3 days for new users, at least 1 day for users who already have stable charts). Only the chart uploader can initiate a stable application.
Stable Review
Stable reviews are handled by Supervisors and require 4 votes to pass. If the application receives 3 or more opposing votes, it will be rejected. Once approved, the chart is marked as stable and ranked, and counts toward RKS. If rejected, a reason will be provided, and the chart can be revised and re-applied.
Stable Chart Restrictions
Once a chart becomes stable, its chart files (.json/.pec) are locked — they cannot be modified or deleted (except by admin action). Metadata such as the chart name, description, and tags can still be edited normally.
FAQ
Q: What if my stable application is rejected?
Review the rejection reason provided by the Supervisors, revise the chart accordingly, and re-apply (mind the cooldown period).
Q: What if I find an error in a stable chart?
Metadata such as the name, description, and tags can be edited directly. Errors in the chart files themselves require contacting an admin for resolution. In severe cases, the admin may revoke ranked status or delete the chart.
Q: How do I check the status of my stable application?
On the chart details page at phira.moe, you can view the current voting status (approving/opposing Supervisors), historical review records, and Supervisor comments.
Q: What if the review is taking too long?
Under normal circumstances, reviews are typically completed within a few days, and Supervisors process applications in order. If there has been no progress for an extended period, you can inquire in the official group or channel.
