v0.6.0 Update Message

This incident took place at 23:16 on 2024-01-01, the time when Mivik sent the message "What the hell did you do?" in the update discussion group.

Much like the Willow Catkins in the Wind incident, this was another serious consequence of manual database operations. It is also known as "Willow Catkins in the Wind 2."

Incident Details

sjfhsjfh tried to modify an announcement that had been posted by mistake. In a state of utter panic, an improper operation caused every message for every user to be overwritten with the new announcement content, namely the v0.6.0 update announcement.

Recovering from this incident cost Mivik roughly an entire evening, and all messages from that day were lost.
